Camphill Milton Keynes Communities is a charity providing unique person centred support, based on a modern view of the Camphill movement, for adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders, as well as a number of people living in the Milton Keynes area who have a learning disability.
We are looking to recruit a part-time Bakery Support Worker for our Artisan Bakery. You would need to have a passion for creating a range of tasty ‘real’ breads and baked products; have an eye for detail and be willing to become part of our dedicated bakery team. You would be working alongside our residents, volunteers and staff passing on your knowledge and skills, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all those working in the Bakery. Some experience of baking and working with people of mixed abilities is essential, along with the desire to work in this unique environment. Relevant training will be provided.
We support our service users in all aspects of their daily lives, and believe that each person should be valued for their contribution to the community. Our workshops play a key role in enabling people to achieve their goals and aspirations through lifelong learning, person centered support planning and their on-going development.
Please visit our Bakery Workshop page for more info.
