Our wonderful Camphill specialises in organic wholefoods and handmade crafts. We serve and welcome visitors from our own and the wider community.

We open Monday to Friday 10.30 am to 4.30pm

We sell freshly baked breads from our bakery, seasonal produce from our gardens, a selection of delicious jams, vinegars and honey from our Landcraft workshop as well as stocking a fantastic range of health foods and gluten free and vegan specialist foods.

We also sell some of the beautiful and skilfully made pieces crafted by our residents in our weavery and baskets and craft workshops.

About our Workshop

The shop also serves as a workshop for our residents. Here our residents have the opportunity to work in the shop and experience  the different activities involved in running the shop each day.

Each day starts by opening up in the morning, residents will learn what’s required and with the support of the workshops leader and co workers, will take responsibility for getting the shop ready for the day.

This involves ensuring the shop is clean and tidy, and making sure all food on the shelves is fresh all ready to be sold. As with all of our workshops, the work is tailored to the individual needs of each residents and

The shop works together with our other workshops such as the bakery, Gardens and Landcraft. Receiving and displaying the fresh bread and biscuits brought in from our bakery, putting away all the fresh produce delivered by our gardens.

Our residents work together as a team to keep the shop clean, well stocked and looking great.

All of our residents who work in the shop received food hygiene and customer care training, This is given as on going training in bite size chunks and is delivered. Our training is delivered in house by our registered trainer.

Put out deliveries of stock. Price up stock and keep the shop looking nice and well stocked. Learning about looking after our environment. Keeping things clean and hygenic.

Learn to follow a set of procedures each morning to keep the shop looking nice and all the different tasks what to do.

Working together as a team.

Paying attention to detail in pricing items and putting things in the right place.

Social skills as they work with customers and meet and greet and work in an environment where they have to have a preofessional approach.


Our residents will contribute to the displays, putting our good our, pricing.

They also meet and greet our customers. Helping them find products and answering their questions as well as making them feel very welcome!

They sweep I the morning, put out the shop signeage. remove the old food or food no longer for sale. Put out the fresh bread and fresh produce deliveries.
