Service Development & Assessment Manager
(Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Speech-and-Language-Therapist/Nurse)
Salary: up to £37k per annum (depending on experience and qualification level)
Full time: 37.5 hours per week with on-call duties on an agreed rota basis

Camphill Milton Keynes Communities is a charity providing unique person centred support, based on a modern view of the Camphill movement, for adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum condition. We support our service users in all aspects of their daily lives, and believe that each person should be valued for their contribution to the community.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech-and-Language-Therapy or Nursing professional, or aligned healthcare professional with experience of working within one or more of the following fields: adults with learning disabilities, autism or mental health, to take up a post in our community.

This job offers the opportunity of utilising your assessment skills to assess present and prospective residents alongside the freedom to engage your professional principles and experience to help shape the future of our community and positively impact on peoples lives. There is scope to develop management practice without losing touch with service users (the reason most of us start a career in health and social care).
Working in close liaison with our CEO and the registered manager, you will be part of the Strategic Management Team, sharing in the development of strategic plans and helping to develop new services or more effective ways of delivering current services. You will carry out relevant assessments and provide assistance, guidance and direction to colleagues and managers in the provision of support to our growing group of residents in line with our values and principles of care.
