Big thanks to our quiz-master Tom, residents Alan T., Alison F., Andrew M., Chloe A., Eleanor B., Lee S, Freddy P., Mark C., Mark F. for contributing the quiz questions! Around 30 residents, co-workers and staff took part in the quiz night, and we all had great fun. Congratulations to The Woods house for winning a prize of £100 worth of cinema tickets!

The stories are accompanied by Alex’s own photos which are published on his blog, our community blog and on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Read all about what we get up to during the workshop and download the latest CMKC Newsletter Issue 53!

Our humble gardens are in full bloom and already provide our community with lovely produce. The gardens supply our Cafe with seasonal fruit, vegetables and herbs that go from field to plate within hours! Here are some courgettes, crisp lettuce, runner beans (in the making), dwarf green beans and delicious garlic all grown chemically-free. We’re always on the lookout for volunteers to help in the gardens, so if you’d like to gain new skills, work as part of a rewarding community and feel like using your hands, then please get in touch via our Garden Workshop or Volunteering pages.
