We want to thank everyone who made our Winter Food & Craft Fayre possible. From stall holders to volunteers to staff and residents, not forgetting friends of CMKC and local media for supporting our event. We had a tremendous turn out on Saturday and lots of lovely money was raised to help fund some of our community wide projects. These local events could not be possible if it wasn’t for you! Thank you again and see you next year!
Our community Craft & Food Fayre is back on November 11th. Alongside our very own artisan baked good, preserves, honey and vinegars, weaved products for the home, arts and craft we will be joined by 30+ local crafters, makers & artisans for our Winter Craft & Food Fayre. We hope to see you on the day and keep an eye on the event page on Facebook for further details. Entry is FREE and everyone is welcome.
Last month we hosted our Spring Craft Fair in support of our vibrant community. The day saw the best sunshine this year so far and we even made the Treasure Quest on BBC Three Counties. We had over thirty local makers and crafters join us in selling hand made creations. On offer were arts and crafts, textiles, soaps and artisan chocolate; there was a lot of talent under one roof in our Chrysalis Theatre. Our own workshops produced lovely gifts and products too from homemade preserves to weaved blankets. We even made a start of raising funds for a brand new defibrillator for our community with whopping 50-rpize Tombola. Thank you to everyone who took part and came along to our Spring Craft Fair, it was great seeing and meeting everyone. We’re already looking forward to the next one in November! Save Save Save
