On Saturday 24th June, Arts For Health MK will be hosting a showcase of talented disabled artists from Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Hosted at Door 15, Silbury Blvd, centre.mk, the exhibition will aim to raise awareness, challenge perceptions and reduce stigma surrounding both physical disability and mental health. We have a number of talented residents taking part in the exhibition with a variety of disciplines including painting, needlework, metal work, drawing and carving. A panel of judges including practicing artists Keith Jansz, Caroline Cardus and Anna Berry and Anthony Spira, Director at MK Gallery, as well as our very own resident, Alison Sharple selected the entries. As Milton Keynes celebrates its 50th Birthday, 50 works will be exhibited. See you there!
