Tech Lab & Newsletter Workshop Support Worker
Salary: £8.75 per hour
Part-time – 14 hours per week; 2 days a week: Tuesday and Thursday 8.30am-4pm
Camphill Milton Keynes Communities is a charity providing unique person centered support, based on a modern view of the Camphill movement, for adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders, as well as a number of people living in the Milton Keynes area who have a learning disability.
We are looking to recruit a part- time Support Worker for our Tech Lab/IT & Newsletter Workshop for adults with learning disabilities. Ideally you will have knowledge and skills in IT or journalism, and previous experience of working with adults or children with range of abilities. A caring attitude and a genuine interest in people reaching their full potential is essential, as you will be promoting person centred, therapeutic and educational activities. Relevant training will be provided.
We support our service users in all aspects of their daily lives, and believe that each person should be valued for their contribution to the community. Our workshops play a key role in enabling people to achieve their goals and aspirations through lifelong learning, person centred support planning and their on-going development.
