Celebrating Morwenna Bucknall

On International Women’s Day we celebrate Morwenna Bucknall, one of the founders of Camphill MK Communities. Here’s a film, created by Jeremy Cooper, featuring the many people whose lives she’d touched, in her lifelong quest in helping others.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this film, your memories were invaluable in the making of this project.

2018 Auvergne Cycle Challenge

Miguel and his cycle heroes, the Stellar Stars, lead by Steve Bradley are taking on the 2018 Extra Mile Auvergne Cycle Challenge from the 20th to the 24th of September.
The challenge is to cycle more than 500 miles in just 3 days, and the team is ready to go go go!

They aim to raise minimum £3,893.75 to hit their target to raise enough funds towards a purchase of a rickshaw electric assisted bike.

They are looking for support, so please give generously via Virgin Money Giving.

For more information on the challenge check out Extra-Mile.

Watch what the teams can expect in the above video by Prominent Media.

Good luck team!

International Women’s Day

Today is International Women’s Day! We know many incredible women all over the world and because we have been celebrating Women of Camphill this week, today we remember one of our founders – Morwenna Bucknall. A most inspirational woman, whom without we would not have so many incredible women working and living with us today. Here’s a little snippet of how she became our hero.
