On what was probably the hottest day of the year, Destiny, Andrew and Mary did an absolutely amazing sponsored walk to raise money for Camphill MK and RSPCA via Just Giving. They clocked an impressive 40km! That’s 10 laps of Willen. Many sweaty T-shirt changes, lots of water, giggles and good chat powered them through the rather tough challenge! Go team DAM 😛 A big shout out to Marie Groves for supporting them for the last half! 🥰
Our resident Andrew & his support worker Destiny are doing a sponsored walk to support their favourite causes – Camphill MK and RSPCA! 💜 😁 If you can, please dig deep & thank you all in advance! 🙏 👍 Please click here to find out more!
Thank you to everyone who took part in our Easter Grand Draw! And an extra big thanks to Milton-Keynesia and Tesco in Bletchley and Wolverton for their kind donations. The brilliant prizes meant that more of the funds raised could go directly on the projects that develop our innovative offering to continue supporting adults with learning disabilities. Ethan, our Fundraiser, says ‘The support that we have received for our inaugural Easter Grand Draw has been great, and we have raised around £300 to help develop and improve our community. A recent project that we have been able to complete thanks to our supporters is Camphill Internet Radio which has allowed our community to stay together spiritually whilst keeping apart and social distancing to keep safe during the pandemic.’ (The lucky winners have been notified.)
