Tools & Upcycling Workshop Coordinator
Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 (depending on experience and qualification level)
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week; Monday – Friday (8.30 am – 4.30 pm)

Camphill Milton Keynes Communities is a charity providing unique person-centred support, based on a modern view of the Camphill movement, for adults with learning disabilities and autism. As a Camphill Milton Keynes Communities employee you will be working in partnership with the Tools for Self-Reliance Milton Keynes Workshop.

About the role:
You will work in close liaison with Tools for Self-Reliance Board of Trustees and CMKC Day Services Manager. You will lead the staff and volunteer team and provide high quality activities and training for adults with learning disabilities.
You will also ensure that a high standard of work is maintained and the working environment in the Workshop is safe, secure and healthy.
You will play a key role in enabling people to achieve their goals and aspirations through hand tools refurbishing and upcycling activities.
Ideally you will have previous experience in maintenance, hand tools refurbishment, upcycling or related rolesand working with people with a range of abilities.
Good all-round skills in using hand and power tools and the ability to share practical skills and knowledge is essential. You will also have good numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
